The story below is provided by Mr. Anthony Sullivan, one of the married partners. In this narrative, Anthony relates his and Richard’s journey of joyous marriage, outright discrimination, and continued activism.

In this document, find the court-ruled decision on the recognition of the marriage between Anthony Sullivan and Richard Adams. The decision, which declared that Mr. Sullivan and Mr. Adams had not proven a “marital relationship” could exist “between two faggots”, still stands in the Colorado courts. (Decision rendered by now Supreme Court Judge Anthony Kennedy.) Also included below are the news stories, supporting official documents and a 2003 Colorado marriage search result which shows Anthony and Richard as a married couple.
What a shame! Cant believe a church will go this far into gay marriage. What are we preaching to the world? Justification of sin? All sheep are gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way…God save the church. This is a very big shame, and u guys seem to be proud of it. Shame on you all.

It’s quite uncertain where we’re heading to. Even when the Holy Bible strongly condemns this act of gay marriage in strong terms,we still go ahead to go beyond the Bible principles.(This God is merciful)….But wow unto the gay race.

How about this, how the scripture that says, Remove the beam….how about people who, I assume are heterosexual, or as least believe that heterosexuality is the only sexual orientation blessed by God… how about you take care of your own house? Start speaking out as harshly and publicly about adultery. Do you believe that’s one of the 10 commandments? I don’t see GLBT marriage in there. How about you guys take care of your own mess?

God help the church that would encourage sin in any form. These people need to understand that this is not ok at all. Read 1 John 3:1-10. Continued sin leads to Hell. I can’t believe that people who claim to follow Christ could be so apathetic toward him. This is ridiculous.

The hatred you bigots are promoting staggers me. Tell me, if gay marriage is so evil why did Jesus never preach against it? You claim to follow him but you seem to forget completely that he was about love and acceptance. Jesus ended the old horrible ways before he came. The teachings about gay people are right next to the ones about committing genocide and murder in God’s name. Yet apparently you like to cherry pick which bits of the Old Testament you want to believe

To Kwame, Sammy and JesusIsTheWay, what this Church preaches is LOVE. Remember, God is LOVE. Not hate. Satan is hate. If you are opposed to gay marriage, you must support promiscuity. That’s of God? C’mon folks. You are NOT smarter than God. God’s creation is good. You can’t pick and choose which old testament verses you want to keep and which ones you want to ignore.
Besides, I am saved by the blood of Jesus who never said one word, not one word ever about homosexuality. You can quote Paul all you want, but I’m not saved by the blood of Paul.
